Salty launches its debut album Just Because on Friday June 9 at The Wheatsheaf Hotel, Thebarton, Adelaide. Supports are Emma Wall and Cow. The long player was recorded at Sixstrings Audio with Anthony Scott over three years and follows up the band's solo acoustic EP of 2004.
Disneyfist return with a special one-off show at the Hopetoun Hotel on Saturday June 3. Members of the early 90s group have since been part of bands including Decoder Ring, Modern Giant, Sealife Park and Half Miler. Supports on the night are Smudge and a rare solo performance by Alannah Russack from the Hummingbirds.
FAQ launches its new EP Testify on Saturday June 3 at The Zoo, Fortitude Valley. Guests on the night will be Sydney group Tommee & The Neighbourhood and Hipakusha. For the launch FAQ will be performing with a mini-choir, Hammond organist and special guest vocalists, as featured on their new recording.

Radio Birdman release the album, Zeno Beach, in stores June 24 on the band's own Crying Sun Records. Recorded in Sydney last December by guitarist Deniz Tek and engineer Greg Wales, it is the group's first album of all new material in twenty five years. Splendour In The Grass organisers can confirm that both event and camping tickets to the 2006 event, to be held Sat July 22 and Sun July 23 at Belongil Fields in Byron Bay have now completely sold out. The next line-up announcement will be in the coming weeks.
Graeme Trewin, longtime drummer for Sydney group Peabody, has left the band.
d.rogers launches his debut single Wrong, Wrong, Wrong in Melbourne on Saturday May 6 at The Empress Hotel. Supports will be Anthony Atkinson and The Raylenes. The single is lifted from the album Neath The Dark Of Fuses Blown due out in July.
Strip For Cash launches its debut self-titled album in Sydney on Thursday May 18 at The Marquee, 128 Pyrmont Road, Camperdown. The band is fronted by Nick Batterham, co-songwriter from 90's band The Earthmen. Supports on the night are Lost Gospel (feat Phil Jamieson) and Cordrazine (acoustic).
The Sunpilots debut self-titled EP is released in stores June 1 out through the band's own Honeytrap Records. The extended player was produced by frontman Raj Siva-Rajah, mixed by Paul Gomersall, and mastered by Don Bartley.
Melbourne band Moscow Schoolboy releases its new EP My Sister and The Devil in stores May 6 out on Silent Partner Recordings. The five song extended player was recorded over several months by Barry Stockly at his Fat Sound studio in West Melbourne. The band is made up Billy McCabe Jnr (bass and vocals), Jess Cornelius (guitar, keys and vocals), Jay Richmond (drums) and Nils Arnold (guitar).
