Something For Kate hits the road this May and June in support of the new single Cigarettes and Suitcases. In stores May 6, the single is lifted from the band's forthcoming album recorded in Los Angeles with producer Brad Wood. Architecture In Helsinki plays one last show in Melbourne on Wednesday April 12 at Northcote Social Club before heading overseas for a European tour. The overseas tour will see them perform at the Festival Artefact in Strasbourg, the Bourges Festival in Bourges, the Danau Festival in Korneuburg and the Haldern Festival in Cologne.

Adelaide band Brer Mouse, after calling it a day back in 2004, reform for two shows only in late April: Sunday April 23 @ Bar Open, Melbourne w/ Pitching Woo and Ned Collette (free entry); Saturday April 29 @ Grace Emily, Adelaide w/ Aviator Lane (free entry).

Wolfmother is set to return from overseas for a national tour in July. National supports on the tour are Swedish rockers Dungen and local outfit Tucker B's. Tickets for all shows go on sale Thursday April 20. In other news the group's debut self-titled album is set for release in the US and the UK in late April and early May respectively, and will be accompanied by the following festival appearances: Coachella and Lollapalooza in the US, Reading and T In The Park in the UK, Fuji in Japan, and a spot on the Roskilde Festival in Scandinavia.
