Friday, 21st

Josh Pyke releases his debut mini-album Feeding The Wolves in stores November 14 on Ivy League Records. To celebrate the release, Josh will undertake a tri-state residency which will see him perform regularly at three different venues in three different states during the month of November. Glasshouse heads into 301 Studios at Byron Bay for two months to record its debut album with Roger Sommers. The album is being financially supported by Arts Queensland. In other news, the band tours Sydney in November performing: Fri 11 Nov @ The Cat and Fiddle, Balmain; Sat 12 November @ The Excelsior, Surry Hills.

Sounds Like Sunset launches its long awaited second album, Invisible, on Saturday November 19 at the Mandarin Club, Sydney with special guests theredsunband and Skullsquadron. Adelaide's Aviator Lane ventures westward in mid October for a handful of shows in Western Australia. The following weekend, the band supports Gersey and The Devoted Few at Jive in Adelaide on Friday October 21. The Holy Rose - the project for Gareth Edwards (ex-Sandro) - plays one last show in Melbourne show prior to relocating to Brisbane in November this year. The show will be an afternoon acoustic set at the Rob Roy Hotel on Saturday October 29, starting at 3:30pm. Support will be provided by a stripped back version of Dave Thomas's new outfit Tiger By The Tail.

The Meredith Music Festival for 2005 has completely sold out of both Friday and weekend tickets. Alchemist releases Embryonics in stores October 10 on Chatterbox Records. The record compiles the best tracks from first three records - 'Jar Of Kingdom', 'Spiritech' and 'Lunasphere'- as well as rare tracks from the '90 and '91 demos, live to radio tracks and bonus material.
