Mach Pelican launches its third album Radio Action in Melbourne on Friday September 29 at The Tote with supports Kids From Russia and The Wellingtons. The album was recorded at Sing Sing Studios in Melbourne with producer Matt Maddock and is released in stores October 2 on the band's own Bop Records distributed by Stomp. The album includes guest appearances from Rocket Science's Roman Tucker and The Spazzys.

Mick Harvey returns to Australia this November for his first solo tour. Mick, a member and co-founder of Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, is touring in support of his solo album One Man's Treasure. Love Of Diagrams releases its new self-titled EP in stores September 18 on Unstable Ape Records. The EP includes two tracks from the band's forthcoming album due out early 2007, two outtakes from the same sessions, and two live tracks, including a version of Pylon's 'Cool'. The band launches the EP in Melbourne on September 30 at the East Brunswick Club with KES and Zond, and in Sydney on October 13 at the Hopetoun with Naked On The Vague. The Mark Of Cain follows up its January national tour with two shows this October in Newcastle and Canberra: Friday Oct 27 @ Newcastle Cambridge Tavern; Sat Oct 28 @ Canberra University, Stonefest with Urge Overkill, Cog and the Hoodoo Gurus. The band is only playing two shows for the time being to focus on writing tracks for its next album.
